Proksee Builds (Changelog)

Build dates are updated when new tools are added, when tool versions change, or when major features or significant bug fixes affecting results are introduced. Minor interface changes, performance optimizations, and internal refactoring do not trigger a new build date.


2026-02-25 [Current Build]
  • Fix multi-subject blast not allowing empty results to be added [1.6.1]
  • Fix issue with GC Content/Skew plots not working (issue from build 2026-02-24)
  • Add running/failed job indicators to job tabs (ie "● Project" or "⚠ Project")
  • Fix crash of CSV file viewer when file has no data and show header is true
2026-02-24
  • Update BLAST tool: BLAST+ 2.17.0 (from 2.16.0)
  • Add multi-subject BLAST (up to 5 subjects). See the news post for details.
  • Reduce storage for BLAST jobs by removing more intermediate files
  • Add running job indicator to project page title (ie "● 2 - Project")

  • Update CARD tool to RGI 6.0.5 (from 6.0.3) and CARD DB v4.0.1

  • Introduced Proksee build dates. This is the initial build entry
  • Added current build date to the footer and About page
  • Increased sequence search results limit to 100,000 (from 100)
  • Added support for downloading specific sequence regions (Data -> Download -> Sequences)
