List of projects you've created on this browser while not logged in. This list will be displayed under Session Projects on the My Projects page.
theme
The selected theme (e.g. dark mode).
last_news_id_checked
Keeps track of the most recently seen news item on the About page. This allows Proksee to display a badge beside About (e.g.2) in the navigation bar that indicates how many new news items are available.
* Proksee uses a more modern technology similar to cookies called HTML5 Local Storage.

Analytics

  • We do not use cookies for analytics.
  • We do not use Google analytics.
  • We do not collect any personally identifiable information about visitors to Proksee.
  • We do use a self-hosted version of Plausible to collect anonymous usage data.
    • Plausible is a privacy-friendly Google Analytics alternative that is fully compliant with GDPR.
    • We measure Proksee web traffic so that we may report overall usage to current and future funding organizations.

User Accounts

  • Proksee can be used without a user account.
  • User accounts can be deleted on your Account page.
