Proksee now accepts NCBI assembly accessions when creating new projects. Previously, only sequence accessions such as NC_000913 were allowed. You can now provide assembly accessions beginning with GCF or GCA, enabling direct project creation from full NCBI assemblies.

Assembly accessions are also supported in the BLAST and FastANI tools.
